Now this is Architecture worth seeing! The Toas Pueblo situated in Taos, NM, just north of Santa Fe, NM, was constructed in 1000 – 1450 AD. It is still maintained by the Puebloan people by adding a mix for building an adobe, earth mix, water, and straw. It is the oldest inhabited Pueblo in North America. 150 Taos Native American’s still inhabit the Pueblo full time. In 1992 it was named one of the most significant historical cultural landmarks like the Taj Mahal and the Grand Canyon. This watercolor is a portion of the Taos Pueblo that is occupied. Some of them have been turned into small shops for tourist. This painting depicts one of the Owner’s in front of his shop with his chest board.
